What is a Text Case Converter?

A text case converter changes the capitalisation of your text in one click. Use UPPER CASE for headings, lower case for URLs and hashtags, Title Case for blog titles and names, and Sentence case for normal writing. It saves time for students, bloggers, YouTubers, writers and anyone who works with documents and spreadsheets.

For example, if you typed "HELLO WORLD" with Caps Lock on by mistake, you do not need to retype it. Paste it, click lower case, and it becomes "hello world". Similarly, "priya sharma" becomes "Priya Sharma" with Title Case.

Title Case vs Sentence Case

Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence. This tool capitalises every word in Title Case. Style guides such as AP and Chicago keep small words like "the", "of", "in" and "and" in lowercase, so you may need to adjust a few words by hand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it convert Hindi text?

Is my text saved?

No. Your text stays in your browser and is not sent to or stored on our server. It is cleared when you close or refresh the page.

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word, as in "Webtoolskit Is Free". Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence, as in "Webtoolskit is free".

Does Title Case follow AP, APA or Chicago style?

No. It capitalises every word. Style guides keep small words such as "the", "of" and "and" in lowercase, so check those by hand if you need a specific style.

Can I undo a conversion?

The converted text replaces the original in the box, so keep a copy of the original text. You can use your browser's Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) right after clicking if the box supports it.
